When you send an enquiry through Terralex, we process your first and last name, email address, telephone number if supplied, details of the property and planned transaction (canton, property type, purchase price range and special circumstances), draft contracts and other documents you subsequently provide, and technical data collected when you visit the website (logs and truncated IP address).
We process data to establish and perform the engagement, including handling your enquiry and legally reviewing your property purchase contract. The legal basis is pre-contractual steps and performance of the contract, together with our legitimate interest in operating the website.
Your data is processed in data centres in Switzerland and the EU. It is retained for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and meet statutory retention requirements, and is then deleted or anonymised.
Access to your data is restricted to people needed to handle your enquiry: the people handling your enquiry and the Omnilex back office. We use carefully selected processors to operate the website and send emails. Data is not shared with third parties for advertising or profiling.
Your documents and communications with the team are treated as strictly confidential. Everyone working on your enquiry is bound by confidentiality.
